Today’s Agenda: 3-mile run
A nasty trend has formed this trip. In Havasu, I took a nasty tumble leaving my leg and arm shredded. Melissa lost her balance on the concrete, leaving cuts on her arms and legs – along with a bruise. At the end of today’s run I took a fall forward, catching myself with my hands.
Running is not a contact sport, I once heard. Liars.
The week before a race is all repetition. I have read rest is important this week. Either I can run a half marathon or not. Improvement is not the week’s goal.
Word of Advice. While I strongly encourage “racecations,” have a food agenda. Try to map out your meals to help skip out on all the eating out. Remember your on vacation and to have fun, but it won’t hurt to skip a few indulgences.
