Day 46: A look back

Today’s Agenda:  Rest.

After the past couple (bad) runs I am glad to reach a rest day.  Around the house I did a few chores and watched Tremors 3.  Nice and relaxing.

I wanted to post pictures and update readers on the events during my San Diego trip.

Melissa and I ready morning of AFC Half-Marathon.

My camera ran out of batteries.  So post race pictures are on other peoples cameras and I haven’t received them yet.

Next, pictures of San Diego.  We drove parts of the course the previous day and got some pictures.

That was the day of the race.  It was so much fun.  America’s Finest City puts on a great race.

Tomorrow I have the Warrior Dash, a 3.2 mile adventure race.  My first one.

Word of Advice:  Before a race, if the course is unfamiliar, drive the course.  It is nice to know where the hills are, road road conditions, and turns.  It is also fun and helps relieve the nerves before the big event.

Go out and fill your passion bucket,
Kyle

My turn to feed Barb who lives in the backyard of where we stayed.
